The Detection Layers
No single sensor sees everything. Effective C-UAS relies on layered detection, fused to give an accurate, low-false-alarm picture of the airspace.
RF Detection
Passive detection of the radio link between drone and controller. Identifies make/model and pilot location on many systems — no emissions of its own.
Radar
Detects non-cooperative and autonomous drones with no RF signature. Effective in RF-congested urban and industrial sites.
EO/IR

Thermal
Visual confirmation and tracking, day or night. Used to classify and verify threats flagged by RF or radar.
Acoustic
Detects drone rotor signatures at short range (typically under 500m). Effective where RF and radar are constrained; performance degrades in high-noise environments.
