Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006. Governs use of the radio spectrum in the UK, including offences for interfering with wireless telegraphy — relevant to RF-based drone detection and any jamming/mitigation capability.
ATMUA 2021
Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Act 2021. Grants police powers to stop, search and penalise unlawful drone operators, and sets requirements tied to the Air Navigation Order 2016.
UAOR 2025
The Unmanned Aircraft (Offences and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2025 come into force on 1st January 2026, or if later, the day after the day on which they are made, and extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. They set the criminal offences for breaching UAS regulatory requirements and update police powers under ATMUA 2021.
NPSA
